  • Small Enterprises : Enterprises with investment in plant and machinery or equipment up to Rs.10 crore and turnover up to Rs. 50 crores.
  • Medium Enterprises : Enterprises with investment in plant and machinery or equipment up to Rs.50 crore and turnover up to Rs. 250 crores.

The MSME registration process can be completed online through the Udyam Registration portal. The following are the steps involved in the registration process:

  • Visit the Udyam Registration portal at https://udyamregistration.gov.in/
  • Click on the "New Registration" button.
  • Enter your Aadhaar number and name as per Aadhaar card.
  • Fill in the required details such as PAN number, email ID, mobile number, and bank account details.
  • Provide information about your business such as the type of organization, location, and other details.
  • Provide details about the activities of the business such as the type of products or services offered.
  • Upload the required documents such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, bank account details, and business address proof.
  • Submit the Application. Once the application is submitted, an acknowledgement will be generated, and the Udyam Registration Certificate with a unique Udyam Registration Number (URN) will be issued within 1-2 working days to the registered email address.
