Both the Designated Partner and the Partner are very important for the Limited Liability Partnership to work properly. On the hand, a Partner is the one who helps run the business and gets a share of the profits. The Designated Partner has to deal with a lot of stuff while the Partner focuses on the business side of things and gets paid based on how well the business does. This is a rule that says you need to have two Designated Partners in an Limited Liability Partnership. There is no limit on how Partners you can have, in an Limited Liability Partnership.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Designated Partner has to get a Director Identification Number. A Partner does not need a Director Identification Number unless they become a Designated Partner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For a company to be set up in India it is necessary that least one of the Designated Partners is a resident of India. However, the Partner does not have to live in India there is no requirement, for a Partner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designated Partners have to pay penalties and fines if the company does not follow the rules. Partners do not have to pay for mistakes that the company makes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designated Partners are the ones who can sign and file the forms for the Limited Liability Partnership with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. The other Partners of the Limited Liability Partnership do not have this authority to sign and file the Limited Liability Partnership forms, with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When you want to add or remove a Designated Partner you have to do some paperwork with the Registrar of Companies.
